I also have a set of alloy Super Champions with the knurled edges- which I don't quite understand. The Behemoth's 'Game 4' evokes Paper Mario I have a set of 40 spoke Super Champions- they're really cool, and super heavy duty.

I have a set of Wolber Model 58 rims on my Voyageur SP. I know Super Champion got bought out by Wolber, but at some point I think they were both bought out by someone else and the branding was kind of mixed together. I know there's a bit of convoluted history between Wolber and Super Champion. So I still have the RD and shifters set aside for when I do decide to build it up to Tri-Color (and an FD206 FD so I can use a triple). However, I wanted to keep the brakes- the dual pivots stop SO well even compared to cantis. My initial plan for my 1986 Trek 400 Elance was to go all Tri-Color 600- and then I decided on a more Suntour build. I love that charcoal grey Tri-Color stuff. Cannondale wasn't afraid to put good bits on their bikes be it Campagnolo, Cinelli, Suntour, or Shimano kit.Your affinity for Cannondale shows here- THIS is the kind of post that I love- It shows that LOVE and excitement for the bikes. Cannondale wasn't afraid to put good bits on their bikes be it Campagnolo, Cinelli, Suntour, or Shimano kit. I LOVE that yours came with an older Avocet than I've ever seen. I should probably source some vintage Avocet computers for my bikes. I still like the look of an Avocet cyclocomputer better than anything else. I loved the topo 3-D terrain box the computer was sold with. I can't believe I lost all the bits in the parts boxes over the years. I once found an Avocet 50 computer in a bike shop with the Altimeter function. I have an Avocet Gelflex 30 saddle I need to get onto someone's classic/vintage ride and some Avocet water bottle cages. I know the history of Super Champion 58s but I hadn't seen the Alpine rims before. Curious to see what you think of your 600 kit. The Ultegra 600 Tri-color is my all time favorite group, although I've never owned it. Probably now my second favorite Cannondale decal after the Campagnolo blue one on the white bikes. What I love about yours is the Shimano 600 decal on the chain stay. Interestingly my Anthracite ST800s are beautiful, but not in my top-three in with factory painted to match racks and triple water bottle cages. I also loved the Cannondale Crest team and replica bikes. My favorite is the LL Bean bluey-green that no one seems to like.

Probably in my top-three Cannondale paint schemes of all time. Here are some pics I took right after I bought it My plan is to do a nut & bolt restoration and polish all the aluminum to a bright shine. It’s an original owner bike purchased new in 1987 and has been in storage for most of its life, all original factory components and I think the computer and pedals are period correct as well. The bike is probably rideable as is with just new tubes and tires buy I got it mainly as a project. After taking it home and looking through the vintage Cannondale catalogues online I was able to identify it correctly. The bike was advertised incorrectly as an ST model but I suspected it was an SR by the blurry ad pic.

I just picked up an SR600 and thought I should share, so far I like everything about it.
